Can you tell me if theres a chance the RFXCom reciever will work?

I killed my W800`s and now have the www.rfxcom.com dual frequency recievers.

TrOjAn,

Unfortunately no...I wasnt even aware of these devices . Ive added them to the to-do list, but I wouldnt be able to work on it for awhile. Ive got several other controllers that Ive promised to do first.

Dave.

I have been looking into this and this product is a promising one... The only disadvantage is that for all features to work it'll cost about $400,-

Peter,
An USB X10 receiver 433.92MHz will cost 94.80 Euro.
And an USB interface with 2 X10 receivers 150 Euro.

This significant less then the $ 400 dollar you mention!

An USB interface can have up to 2 receivers connected.
Some possible configurations:
- US 310MHz X10 receiver AND an European 433.92MHz X10 receiver
or
- (310 or 433.92) X10 receiver AND (315 or 433.92 or 868.95) Visonic receiver.

And YES the RFXCOM receiver will work because it has a compatible receiving mode to the W800.
See http://www.rfxcom.com
