I created some timed events, all of which are working.
However, I had the Setup Sunrise location set
incorrectly when they were created.

Now that I have corrected the Sunrise location to the
correct longitude and latitude, the sunrise and sunset
times for the events are still not correct. They seem
to still be based on the old location that was ins
Setup > Sun.

I have confirmed that the setting was indeed changed
(can't use city and state, so manually entered
Long/Lat). Then I re-initialized, confirmed incorrect
sunrise/sunset, so exited then restarted. confirmed
that the times on the created events are still
incorrect.

However, when I change the Timing in the drop down of
the Timed Events window, then change it back, it gets
the correct times.

Carl,

The behavior you're seeing is normal and would be the way to get the times updated properly based upon your current lat and long.

When a timed event is created that is based on Sunrise/Sunset/Dawn/Dusk, the time is calculated based upon the date of the event and the current
lat/long settings. When you save your timed event, there is nothing that will go through and recalculate the times should you change the lat/long.

When the timed event runs, if it is recurring, then it will update itself to proper time based upon your current lat/long (just as if you created a
new timed event).

So, you would need to go and either change the timing or the date and then back again for all timed events based upon lat/long to get proper values
or just wait for them to recalculate automatically (if they're recurring) once they next run (at the wrong time if you didnt change). Once they run,
the next run time should be correct for your lat/long.

Dave.
