I hope so, this is pretty darned slick!

IP->Insteon Bridge

Or this one -- which is a little more rudimentary in it's interface:

Another Insteon->IP Bridge

If Dave does not support it directly, I think that plug-in support for controllers was recently added, so it should be "easy".

That would be pretty cool!

Since I have a whole-house network, it's pretty annoying to have a machine locked in one place just because it needs to be plugged into the PLM.

The Universal Devices ISY-26 is indeed an interesting device. Rami (owner of Universal Devices) and I had booths right next to each other at CES this year. Rami is a great guy and he's got a great product, but there isnt much in the way of integration possible between this device and PowerHome. The ISY-26 is really meant to replace PC based automation rather than working alongside of it. Rami and I talked about creating some XML interfaces that would allow the ISY-26 and PowerHome to share some Insteon configuration data, but we ultimately never got really far with this since there wouldnt really be much benefit other than to initially seed the ISY-26 with Insteon configuration information.

I saw the ISY-26 in action and it's definately a slick device and would be great for someone who doesnt want to hassle with PC automation and doesnt have the need for unlimited triggers and automation rules.

The SimpleHomeNet EZBridge is a different animal from the ISY-26 and there exists some integration possibilities. However, I would think that it would come after PLM support.

Dave.
