Woot has a Digital Media Assistant (?) today only which has wifi, infrared and touch screen. I'm still looking for something that can control PH from each room in the house that is inexpensive. I'm interested in anyone's thoughts on this device. Can it control PH? How? Internet? Other ways? Are there better solutions for less money? Is it similar to the Fijutsi 3500 in purpose only smaller?
The link to today's woot is here..

This is interesting!
Since it has a browser, it should work. It's like the Fujitsu, but with a much bigger HD and can play media (seems to be only local media).
From cnet review...
The good: Unbelievable feature set; superb intuitive touch-screen interface; PDA features; built-in Wi-Fi; removable battery; genuinely helpful instruction manual.
The bad: Extremely expensive ($800 at the time); no portrait orientation for PDA functions; no kickstand; no streaming media features; poor Wi-Fi performance; lacks slide-show mode for photos; mediocre battery life, especially for video.
The bottom line: Sticker shock and minor problems notwithstanding, Archos has crafted the most capable, enviable PVP we've seen yet with the PMA430.

I didnt get to see this until too late. Did you happen to order one? As long as it has a browser, which Im almost certain it would but could not find, then you should have no problem using it as a touchscreen control for PowerHome.
Let us know how it works out if you got one.
Dave.
