In an attempt to see if I had a valid Insteon link, I clicked "Reverify".... I'm now in "RECHECK LINK" hell.

It's been at it for almost 3 hours, and won't do anything else.

Can I cancel this operation, or do I need to just let it run over nite?

Reverify should be pretty quick...just a few seconds depending upon other background operations. The thing to check is if you see the REVERIFY show up in the Pending Operations window. If it's not showing up then it's one of three things. 1. Make sure that your Poll Interval is greater than 0 (and not too high...it's measured in seconds). You must have a poll interval greater than 0 for background operations to take place. 2. Check that the device with the REVERIFY flag is active. The device must have a check in the "Active" column. 3. Check that the device is not flagged as Failed. Both 2 and 3 can be quickly checked on the "Device Maint" screen.

One last thing is that the "Links" screen (as well as all of the screens in the Tabbed windows) do not auto refresh. You must click the "Refresh" text to re-retrieve the data or double click the device in question in the Devices window.
