I recently replaced an on/off module and something is turning it on, but I can't figure out what. In addition to PH, I have an ISY, but neither of them seem to be the source.

Here is a log entry from one event...

Incoming Insteon received on INSTEON PLM controller INSTEON-PLM.
From Address:[40.1B.50] To Address:[00.00.01] Flags:[207] Cmd1:[17] Cmd2:[0].
Decode: Group Broadcast. From: OUTSIDE HOLIDAY Group: 1, On

Anyone have ideas?

I called SmartHome, and they suggested that I reset the module, but it's not working. I'll give that another go.

Tony,

It's definitely outside PowerHome because it's an incoming group broadcast command. I would look at your Insteon devices tab and find the OUTSIDE HOLIDAY device
and verify that the address matches. PowerHome wouldnt be able to see the incoming comm's if it wasnt a device that was at least previously linked in your
system.

In order for the OUTSIDE HOLIDAY to turn the on/off module on, the on/off module must have a responder link to this device. I would Scan DB on the new device
and then go to the Links tab and see what it shows. If it all looks proper, I would do a factory reset and then choose the "Rebuild" option on the links tab.

Dave.

That's what I thought. There is no command for that in the ISY logs, either. Just the broadcast. =/

Is there another way to factory reset those besides the tap/press stuff that's not working for me? :D

Tony,

Not that Im aware of. The power off, press and hold, power on type sequence is the only way Im aware of to do a factory reset. If that isnt
working, I would try the rebuild. This "should" erase the rogue link. It may be necessary to add several bogus links so that the rogue link is
overwritten. Then try deleting the bogus links.

Dave.

Thanks! That first one was not mentioned in the docs.
