Hi - Insteon has just started shipping new dual-band serial and USB
PLMs. I've been told by Steve Lee (Insteon VP) that "They both
had to be completely reengineered. The original chip sets were no
longer available so they look at it as an opportunity to fix some of the
things that needed upgrading."
I'm sure they did a good job, but these are Version 1.0, so I'm
wondering if anyone who got theirs has tried it out yet, and with what
results? Please post your experience, good or bad. Thanks!

I purchased a USB PLM (2413U) three weeks ago to replace my
V2 Hub because of multiple communication issues with
devices. The 2413U has corrected those issues and has
worked flawlessly so far.
