I have an MP3 server in my house, plays music all day. I wanted to skip tracks using the Elk keypad button F4. Here is how I did it.

Set keypad F4 to disabled, set the text to "Skip track".

I created a rule that says "Whenever keypad F4 is pressed, turn on output 5 for 1 second" (remember that outputs 4,5 and 6 are hidden on the mainboard).

Then I created a PH trigger that says "When Elk output 5 goes high, send a UDP packet to the MP3 server to skip next."

Worked like a charm. Now I can skip tracks from the hallway, and get audible "beep" feedback, as well as "next track" on the keypad.

I'm loving the Elk support :)
