Is the only way to "process email" through a timed event? If so, doesn't that tremendously reduce the functionality? If I am ever in a situation where I need to email PH in order to trigger some event, I imagine I'd want it to happen ASAP, and having to wait for a timed event (which can't be set any quicker than hourly, if I'm not mistaken) seems... wrong.

Am I missing something? I thought I read about someone using email processing to open his garage door so that if he was in the yard he could just text a message and have it open. That couldn't possibly work if he potentially had to wait 59 minutes for the timed event to execute again. Does it require 60 timed events, for every minute of the hour, to ensure a timely response?

(BTW, thanks to all the contributers to this forum: I managed to get email processing and sending up and configured in one day. Pretty psyched about it all.)

Thanks!

Timed events are set in minutes. You can enter 1 if you want.

Rock and roll! And apologies, because I now see this clearly documented in the user guide...
