Hi Dave:

I recently inserted one of the Insteon IRLincs into my system. I used the 2414 device type (I think it was 2414).

In any case since I have installed the IRLinc I have to reinit powerhome every few hours. There doesn't seem to be a specific time that the system stops responding.

I am aware that the hardware isn't really your problem and it is not fully supported yet, so here is what I am asking.

Is there a way to periodially check to see if the PLC (USB to Insteon, whatever it's called) is functioning, and if it is not, perform a reinit?
