It seems that every time I go into PH now, I have almost every device shaded pink on the device tab and I need to clear failed. Now, I am quite certain that every one of my devices are not failing at the same time, so what else could be wrong? I am on PH 2.1.

Definitely a communication issue. But it is most likely
the PLC/PLM. Try resetting the PLC/PLM and from the
Insteon Explorer clearing and then reloading the
PLC/PLM.

If you are not on 2.1b, upgrade to the latest level. There was a bug at 2.1 where PH was interpreting a condition as an error when it was not. Eventually when the error count exceeds the defined limit the device is shaded red. That problem was fixed by 2.1a but another problem was introduced. Release 2.1b fixed that problem. See ...

Nadler could well be correct. Most of the time what you describe is a communication issue. However, if not on 2.1b, upgrade to be sure what you are seeing is not the 2.1 bug.
