So, I found this nifty program called Sysmetrix at http://www.xymantix.com. It is a skinnable clock and metering program that is very cool for those of us with our systems connected to our main TV's.

Here is my setup so far...

I'm showing time, CPU usage, TCP/IP traffic, media player status and title info, day, date, media player controls, and, outside temperature. I took an existing skin and modified it. I have this set up to always be on top of all other windows.
