I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate to replace the RC version. I had Powerhome working great in Windows 7 before but I can't remember the tweaking with the registry and ini file that I did last year... Copious note taking this time.
I copied the old database file into the database directory but Powerhome apparently is not reading the file. If I open the Powerhome Explorer window I can read in the database file from the old directory.
I wish I would have taken notes when I first installed PH under Windows 7.

Try running it in Administrator only. Also sometimes turning off UAC will help and finally try running in XP Compatibility mode. Make sure that in the ini file the DB path is correct.

Thanks Pete,
It was the UAC settings. "It's a feature"
