I have been plagued off and on (not sure why it doesn't happen all the time) with EXTREMELY sluggish PH Trigger responses. It can sometimes take over a minute before PH acts on the Fastoff tap on a switch to execute a macro to turn off multiple lights.

I have macros to start/end home theater showings. The macros are triggered off an IR remote command. Often I think the IR command was missed, as nothing happens, and try it multiple times, only to have multiple results a minute later!! :-(

I am looking for insight from others as I have run out of ideas. I can correlate non of these sluggish responses to anything particular going on in PH.

For instance last night it was over a minute from the time I sent the Showend remote command until it fired the trigger (at 21:27:22 in the Event Log). Yet there was no significant logged activity going on in the minutes prior! The macro actions appear to be taking place immediately after the Trigger so the delay seems to be in the period between the actual trigger and it's sensing. The Insteon actions are all Immediate rather than Post to assure real-time responses. That part works, but the Trigger delay makes "real-time" interaction a non-functional idea.

I'm running a Intel i2 processor at 2.7GHz and PH seems to be using about 50% (max) of CPU time and is getting all the CPU cycles it needs.

Thus I'm at a loss to figure out why the very significant delays.

Any ideas anyone?
