I was a bit thrown off by that too. The control panel starts blank, you have to set it up first. Once you set up all your devices you can add them to the control center. Or once you have devices set up you can just access the web center, it has basic controls for the lights and stuff there.
That was then, now look what I'm doing with powerhome and flash *grin*

thanks - the quick start shows all the tabs and buttons - sheez - well what do I know?
ahh... err...
that looks pretty scary
I'm not so interested in touch panel or computer control - I want to download schedules, macros, etc. into an Ocelot.

Daves,
It can be a little intimidating, thats for sure. But once you start, it's not so bad.
However, based upon your desire to download schedules and macros into an Ocelot, I don't think PowerHome is for you. PowerHome is required to be running and connected in order to provide any control and does not have the capability to download to any of it's supported controllers.
Im not familiar with any software (other than the Ocelot's C-MAX) that allows for this ability.
HTH,
Dave.

If you want to DL. into your controler then Powerhome is not what you want. Like Dave stated that PH needs to be connected to a controler at any time and running 24/7... But once you get into the basics of PH and Homeautomation you are gonna be hooked.. If you really would like yo see what PH is capable of you should read some popular threads in this forum and see the result in some screenshots... No matter what you think of: when it is electronic or electrical: you can import/control it from PH...
