Hello all. I’m new here and I must say I’ve very impressed. I’ve been playing around with PowerHome for the last few days and this is the coolest software I’ve ever messed around with. I am having a major problem trying to import a macro though. I’ve tried importing just about every macro on this site and I always get an error. The first script I tried to import was “GET WEATHER”. When I tried that one I was getting this:

Formula Error
A syntax error exists in the formula. Please check the formula and correct this condition.

This also had a pop-up box that said something about:
Infinite loop detected on System variable! The max substitution level has exceeded 25.

After looking around I found a setting under Setup (Setup Scripts) and saw a setting for “Global Variable Maximum Substitutions” This was set to 25 by default. I changed it to 250 just for grins. After that I get this error trying to import “GET WEATHER”

Formula Evaluation
     The formula evaluates to: !

Now no matter what macro I try to import I always get the above error. I've made a few macros from scratch (they work fine) but if I export them and try to re-import them under a different name I get the same error.

Any idea what I’m doing wrong? I’m running version 1.03.4.9

Twomble,

Welcome to PowerHome!

You're in the right window, just the wrong mode. The PowerHome Multi-Editor is multi purpose. The mode you're in is PH Formula mode where you can execute PowerHome formulas directly. You want the multi-editor to be in SQL mode. You can do this from the menu or by pressing Shift-F5. Once you're in SQL mode, the macro should then import fine.

Dave.

Hello Dave! Thank you for such a quick reply. Shift-F5 worked great. I now have the macro imported. Where is this menu choice?

Tim,

Sorry to take so long responding...

With the Multi-Edit window the current window, go to menu Edit->Language and you can see the individual settings available for the Multi-Editor.

HTH,

Dave.
