Hi,
I'm doing a summer project involving X-10 and powerhome software. However the project also involve other modules where they're programmed in Java or C. Ideally the Java or C program will generate a signal to control the X-10 device (through PowerHome). I'm not sure if it's possible to generate such signals to control the PowerHome software. Anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance!

Should not be a problem. There are programs in the download area that allow you to communicate with PH via other programs (the last three on the page)...

Rain, it's unclear how you want the C/Java modules to communicate to PowerHome. You can use one of the remotes to do (as suggested by Tony) from another machine, or you can use windows messages if you are trying to communicate from a program running on the same machine - see http://www.myx10.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=413 for more details.
