I would like to dim the lights when i watch tv on my media center 2005 machine. I have powerhome installed on a separate machine and have the ddc client installed on the media center machine. I am wondering if were possible to dim the lights on cetain buttons being pressed?

hello, i was doing this with girder.

girder monitoring the MCE computer and sending by socket to another girder on my PH machine controlling the insteon lights.

i know this is complicated to do something simple. maybe dave have a simple solution to do the same thing without using 3rd party software.

im looking for a simple solution too.
