Perhaps silly question: is it possible to link a KPL button (or switch for that matter) directly to a PLC group? I'm controlling a PLC group now through triggers but figured it could be simplified a bit...

Unfortunatley no. The Insteon specification does not allow an Insteon device to "trigger" or send another Insteon devices group.

You'll need to continue the way you're doing it where a KPL button fires a trigger in PowerHome and then the PLC controls a group.

Dave.
