Is there a command, that can be done from another machine, to query the status of devices in the database only and not have to query each device directly?
I know this will be a moot point if I can figure how to use the UDP broadcasts, but for now this would work :)
Thanks!

IIRC, status queries are against the DB and not the device unless you use the appropriate formula. One of these is ph_getinsteonlevelrt.
