I'm considering doing away with all macros in favor of doing everything in javascript.

My system is all X10 stuff.

I can funnel all the triggers through generalized functions (example below) and make it much easier to manage the overall system. Especially keeping the control center consistent with the device status page and incoming events.

Is this a good idea or will I shoot myself in the foot? Anyone else doing it?
