I have searched forums for this and found "almost answers". I have worked it myself and here is what I think is true"
1-With PH one cannot link a secondary button to the same KPL's load (button 1)
2-With PH one cannot Link button 1 to any secondary button on the same KPL.
3-With Insteon KPL manual linking you can do both. Standard instructions in the KPL box work.
So... I have programmed my whole system with PH, then I go around and manually set any instances of links between buttons on a single KPL.
I would love to hear if anyone has better answers than the above.
Curt

I read through that thread earlier, but missed the significance of Dave's post. THANK YOU for pointing me.
I have not yet tried Dave's method, but I would infer that by using the KPL Config TAB, one can make button-1 (this KPL's Load) a "Responder" of any other button on the SAME Kpl. Right?

I did as Dave posted, using button 3 on an 8 button KPL Relay and button 3 on a 6 button KPL Dimmer. Pressing button 3 turns On/Off the load on both.
