Maybe I am over thinking this, but I am looking for the best way to monitor and record the ARM STATUS of the Elk.



I want to have a GLOBAL variable updated whenever the ARM STATUS changes. I am aware that PH has Elk ARM STATUS triggers (I already use them - built in ones and through the use of generic controller triggers), but my way of getting this information seems cumbersome.



ALSO, this "generic trigger" and the built in "ARM STATUS" trigger always seem to fire twice when the system is armed or dis-armed. Why would the trigger fire twice (possibley messing up any macro's that where only expected to be called once). What is up with that? See below:
